Enlightening Missal

Years ago my daughter gave me my St. Joseph Complete Missal. Since then I have given one to my son and another to my grandson when he had his confirmation. This edition has Mass themes and Biblical Commentaries before each reading and Gospel which help us have a better understanding of them.

St Joseph Sunday Missal

The missal is a great resource for preparing in advance for participation in Mass. There is an overall theme along with a heading for each reading for every Mass. It also includes several prayers, the order of penance and an overview of the catechism. I am disappointed it no longer includes any songs like older versions and why both a color and b&w pages of the mysteries of the rosary and stations of the cross?! Lastly, the cost for postage and handling was exorbitant (no longer available from Amazon).
