Great Entry Level Bible

I have been seeking a Bible without glossy images and family records in the New Catholic Bible translation, and this one meets my needs perfectly. Its compact size makes it easy to carry in most bags or backpacks, and it features no ghosting, a smooth translation, and traditional verses familiar to Catholics. The footnotes are devotional rather than interpretive, it includes maps at the end, and the words of Christ are printed in red. After a year of daily use, it remains in excellent condition. However, it may not be suitable for those with poor vision due to the smaller font size, and it lacks integrated ribbons. Overall, this is an excellent choice for new Catholics seeking a conveniently sized Bible with an accessible translation, red letters, and a durable design. God bless.
